Pat Pendleton is a multidisciplinary artist who has explored photography, and collage, she has primarily pursued painting for forty years. She received a BA in Studio Art from SUNY Oswego and an MA in Counseling Psychology and Art Therapy from Naropa University in Colorado. She views the process of painting as an expression of choice and chance found in layering materials, assembling color, shape, texture, and mark as a reflection of this continuous present of time and place where we all find ourselves. Pat has shown work in San Francisco, New York, and Denver while residing in those places prior to returning to Western New York. Her work has been exhibited in numerous regional venues. Most recently, she has exhibited at The Comma Fine Art Gallery in Orchard Park, NY. A former mental health clinician and art therapist, she is also a published author.
