BA degree in Medical Illustration from Fredonia State College. I've been self-employed my whole life…(as an artist!). Started that dream from a little shop in Clarence, (the same one Wilson Greatbatch rented) as a "gallery proprietor" (heh), then moved on to downtown and ventured in computer graphics (yeesh, in the 80's?, gag me) then as a one women ad agency. That was nice, but the REAL fun came when I became "The Painter Lady of the Chip Strip" creating environments inside bars and restaurants with stuff that could just knock you over…and the owners ENCOURAGED this behavior! Now I pleasantly create oil paintings from my attic (thank God for skylights), and I hope they bring joy, or perhaps curiosity, to the viewer.
