My name is Pat Seiss. I want to introduce myself. Ever since I was a very young girl, I loved drawing and coloring. When my parents would do their grocery shopping, I would be so happy when they brought home a ream of paper, crayons, paints, or pencils for me. One of my best memories is drawing for hours at the kitchen table with my sister.
When I grew up, I married, had children, and my priorities changed. I always stayed interested in art but expressed my creativity through different venues. I learned to sew and created clothes, theater and Halloween costumes, and synchronized swim outfits for my kids. Seeing art through the eyes of children is refreshingly amazing. I encouraged my kids' creativity and framed their beautiful artwork. It hung alongside mine throughout the house.
My children are now grown. My working years are coming to an end. It is now time to start a new chapter in my life. It’s time to get excited again over a blank piece of paper and on the scent of crayons and paint.
I hope you love my artwork and join me as I “enjoy the journey.”
